How Your Support Powers The Camp

When you give to the Ma’mo’weh Wii’soo’ka’tiwin Foundation, your support flows directly to the essentials that make the camp possible. Every day, the camp transforms lives for thousands of Indigenous children and families.

It takes the right mix to make it happen:

  • The right people: Indigenous staff and Elders who mentor, guide, and inspire youth.
  • The right programs: Land-based learning, sports, arts, cultural ceremonies, and more.
  • The right resources: Equipment, tools, healthy meals, and care for the animals who are part of every program.

The Foundation raises and stewards $4 million annually — just $266 per child — to ensure the camp operates safely, consistently, and with cultural integrity

Spotlight: The Equine Program

The Equine Program is a cornerstone of the camp’s mission, helping children build confidence, resilience, and leadership through hands-on care and riding experiences with 16 horses.

To maintain and grow this program over the next two years (2026–28), the program requires $1.4 million in funding. Gifts ensure children continue to experience:

  • Year-round equine therapy and land-based learning.
  • Safe care for horses, paddocks, trails, and the indoor arena.
  • Pathways from camper → junior staff → future leader.
